Genevieve loves to share recipe ideas for her products. Below are some for her range of fresh dressings.

Classic French Vinaigrette Sesame Soy Vinaigrette Saffron & Orange Blue Cheese Dressing Caesar Dressing Lime & Parmesan Dressing

 

Classic French Vinaigrette

Caprice Salad

Slice coloured cherry tomatoes and fresh bocconcini.

Arrange attractively onto a serving platter. Break up some fresh basil leaves over the salad with your fingers.

Drizzle over Genevieve's Classic French Vinaigrette and top with a grind of black pepper.

Spicy Cucumber Oysters

Mixed together some finely chopped cucumber, green tabasco and Genevieve’s Classic French Vinaigrette.

Spoon over freshly shucked oysters in the shell.

Also serve....

  • as a general purpose salad dressing
  • tossed through hot, diced potatoes and chopped parsley for a German potato salad
  • as a slaw dressing
  • brushed over BBQ'd meats
  • as an antipasto vegetables marinade with chopped rosemary
  • as a dressing for sautéed mushrooms
  • mixed with finely chopped cucumber, green tabasco and spooned over freshly shucked oysters in the shell.

Sesame & Soy Vinaigrette

Carrot & Sesame Salad

You will need purple, gold and orange carrots, Peel and slice carrots thin keeping the purples separate.

Toss slices separately in Genevieve’s Sesame & Soy Vinaigrette. Place alternate layers of the coloured slices into a serving bowl and top with toasted sesame seeds.

Asian Dressed Vegetable Salad

Blanch cauliflower and broccoli floret’s and grill aubergine slices until cooked through.

Sauté button mushrooms and slice up some garlic chives. Toss the cooked vegetables and chives in Genevieve’s Sesame & Soy Vinaigrette.

Place alternate layers of the coloured vegetables into a serving bowl and top with toasted sesame seeds.

  • a sauce for pan-seared beef
  • red cabbage and coriander slaw dressing with peanuts
  • a marinade for chicken
  • drizzled over smoked salmon and avocado salad
  • drizzled over grilled, fresh salmon skewers

Saffron & Orange Vinaigrette

Crisp Bacon & Fig Salad

Pan-fry some good quality bacon until crisp and drain on paper towels. Make a salad with fresh, red figs, cherry tomatoes, crumbled goats cheese and basil leaves.

Drizzle with Genevieve’s Saffron & Orange Vinaigrette.

Spicy Sausage Salad

Pan-fry some spicy Spanish sausage till crisp and drain on paper towels. Make a salad with fresh rocket or cress, cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta and jumbo black olives.

Top with Genevieve’s Saffron Vinaigrette and a good grind of black pepper.

  • a dressing for carrot and beetroot salad
  • a marinade for chicken
  • a sauce for white, fleshy, steamed or seared fish
  • drizzled over avocado and fresh mozzarella
  • a dressing for goats cheese and prosciutto salads
  • drizzled over freshly, hot smoked-salmon

Blue Cheese Dressing

Bacon & Avocado Salad

Crisp some bacon in a frying pan and drain on paper towels. Arrange salad ingredients on a plate: red seedlings, ricotta, crispy pancetta or bacon and avocado slices.

Drizzle over Genevieve's Blue Cheese Dressing. Top with a grind of black pepper.

Blue Cheese Iceberg Lettuce

Crisp some bacon in a frying pan and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle over iceberg lettuce quarters.

Drizzle over Genevieve's Blue Cheese Dressing.

Also serve....

  • a steak sauce
  • a slaw sauce with bacon and walnuts
  • drizzle over steamed green beans
  • tossed threw a potato salad with fresh parsley
  • drizzle over a duck, onion marmalade and pear pizza
  • as a dipping sauce for vegetable crudités

Classic Caesar Dressing

Caesar Salad

Make croutons by baking thin ciabatta slices drizzled with good olive oil in a moderate oven until crisp. Mix a half cup Genevieve's Caesar Dressing with 2 egg yolks a squeeze lemon juice.

Place in a large mixing bowl, ripped cos leaves, sliced boiled eggs, shaved parmesan, crumbled croutons and dressing. Toss everything and place in a serving bowl. Finish with milled black pepper... tasty!

Caesar Pizza

Bake pizza’s with an onion marmalade base, cooked chicken, bacon and parmesan cheese.

When cooked, top with chopped cos leaves then drizzle over Genevieve's Caesar Dressing.

Finish with a grind of black pepper.

Lime & Parmesan Dressing

Spanish Fish Salad

Arrange some steamed white fish and orange segments onto a platter. Top with slices of soft boiled, black olives and chopped flat leaf parsley.

Drizzle over Genevieves Lime & Parmesan Dressing.

Corn, Spinach & Avocado Salad

Simply toss together some cooked chick peas, corn, spinach leaves, diced avocado, diced red onion, cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves.

Drizzle over Genevieves Lime & Parmesan Dressing.

  • as a dressing for fish or chicken tacos
  • drizzled over corn, avocado and pasta salads
  • as a sauce for vegetable fritters
